On September 16th Air New Zealand introduced a corporate version of their Airpoints program called Airpoints for Business.

“Airpoints for Business enables small to medium sized businesses to earn
additional Airpoints Dollars at a rate of 20 percent of the personal
Airpoints Dollar earn rate. The business earning rate does not affect
the individual’s personal Airpoints Dollar or Status Point earn.”

Much like the business programs we see from American Airlines, Air France KLM, Etihad and other carriers Airpoints for Business awards business with points over and above the personal points earned by the actual person flying. The catch is that it is only open to businesses located in New Zealand. Perhaps if the program is successful they will open it up to businesses outside of New Zealand.

To celebrate the launch of the new program, Air New Zealand is offering Triple Airpoints for Business Airpoints. This is significant as it is extremely rare to find any bonuses for flying on Air New Zealand and we can’t even recall the last time we saw one since we started tracking bonuses back in 2005.

Offer Details
Triple Airpoints for Business Airpoints when employees book and travel on eligible Air New Zealand flights. Full details Until Dec 31, 15
