We now see that Emirates posts Skywards Miles Accelerator offers nearly 4 months in advance now. With that in mind we updated our Skywards page with the latest offers which are
valid for travel during the month of July! Now what we are unsure of is that you need to opt-in every month to get the bonuses for that month according to Emirates. Does that mean you opt-in this month for the July offers or in July for the July offers that are posted now but won’t show up in July if you search for them at that time? So our advice is to opt in each month irregardless of whether you traveling or not, then if you do book a flight, say this month for travel in July opt-in now and in July and be sure to take a screenshot of the offer so that you have back up if the miles don’t post.
What is Miles Accelerator?
Each month Emirates releases bonus offers on select routes across their network called ‘Miles Accelerator‘ which
enables you to earn more
Skywards Miles when you fly with Emirates, irrespective of the fare you
pay or where you buy your ticket. Unlike other ‘multipliers’ from the
likes of American, US Airways, Virgin Atlantic etc. you don’t pay for these bonus miles.
You can even combine offers if you are connecting via Dubai. For
example with the bonuses below if you fly First Class between Dallas and
Perth you could earn 32,000 bonus miles.
