When Delta Airlines announced new service between Seattle and London, Alaska Airlines did not sit back and launched an offer of Double Miles for flying on their partner airline British Airways for the same route. Now British Airways is also taking note of Delta and offering Double Avios to their own members for that route as well as Double Avios on select Alaska Airlines flights out of Seattle. The battle for Seattle now has a third airline in the mix who are of course backing the home team.
