On March 14 Wyndham Rewards is releasing a new award chart for
free nights at their properties. The chart shows a new lowest category
level of 5,500 points (getting rid of the 6,000 point level) which is
the good news, they have also done away with the short lived highest
category 35,000 and 45,000 point level redemptions but have kept the
rest of the levels just recently introduced that were over the old high
end 16,000 points.  You can expect to see many hotels that were capped
at 16K to move up.  There is also a new level being introduced at 8,000
