In case you missed my posting of this offer earlier in the week, Hilton has once again brought back their Mahalo + Double Miles for stays of four or more nights at their properties in the Hawaiian Islands until Dec 20, 13.

The offer is provided HHonors members with the following:
10,000 Hilton HHonors™ Bonus Points
Double Miles with participating airlines
A complimentary spa-style bathrobe

A total of 20 airlines that are partnered with HHonors are included in this offer (even Mexicana?, looks like someone copy and pasted the T&Cs from two years ago) and it proves to be a pretty decent offer as on a whole.

To test the offer I looked at the Hilton Waikoloa Village for a four night stay March 17 – 21 and this is what I found for a King Island View room:
Best Available Rate: $239
AAA Rate: $227
Mahalo + Double Miles Rate: $239
This price is before taxes and resort fees. As you can see the promotion prices out at the same rate as the BAR and $12 more per night than the AAA rate. Obviously this offer is worth it if you are booking the BAR, but is this offer worth the extra $12 night over the AAA rate (that is if you are a AAA member and beware more and more hotels are checking, well at least they seem to be checking my AAA stays quite often).
Many people value HHonors points anywhere from .5 cents to 1 cent a piece.  So if we take a conservative 6 cents per point, the 10,000 bonus points alone are worth $60 which is more than the $48 in savings on a four night AAA stay plus you still have to add in the double miles and the bath robe, so this is a no brainer. Now other room types with better views etc. have somewhat of a bigger dollar spread between the AAA rate and this promotion rate, so I do advise you to do the math on your HHonors Points, the extra miles and I would take the bath robe at $25 (even though the hotel would probably charge you more)

These are the hotels participating in this offer:
Kings’ Land by Hilton Grand Vacations Club
Hilton Waikiki Beach
Hilton Hawaiian Village® Beach Resort & Spa
Hilton Waikoloa Village
Doubletree® Alana Hotel – Waikiki
Embassy Suites®_Waikiki Beach .
Grand Wailea Resort Hotel & Spa
