How to keep up with all the bonus offers

Here at Frequent Flyer Bonuses we offer various methods for you to keep up with all the bonus offers we post, of course the main channel is our website, and most if not all of our other channels which we list below will link you to the newest offers on our website. That being said, we do offer other channels where you can keep up with the latest bonus offers and news outside of the website or this blog and they are:

The FFB Roundup
The FFB Roundup is our weekly newsletter that is sent out on Mondays. It lists the majority of new offers that we posted onto the website during the previous week. It is great way to catch up on all the new offers in an easy to read format that breaks offers down to bonuses for flying, staying, driving and other activities. You can subscribe to the FFB Roundup here.

Frequent Flyer Bonuses has been on Twitter since early in the year and next to website, it is the most up to date and fastest resource for new bonus offers that we have posted. Normally we are posting on Twitter on daily basis with the new offers from that day. You can find us on Twitter as FFBonuses or follow us via this link (or see the Twitter box on the right side of this blog)

Become a fan of Frequent Flyer Bonuses on Facebook. Also started early this year our Fan Page has a small but dedicated and growing member base. Normally we post some of the more major bonus offers, news and other features like new programs added to FFB on our Fan Page. Become a fan of Frequent Flyer Bonuses today by visiting our Fan Page here. (or see the Facebook box on the right side of this blog)

Another good place to look is at the bottom of our home page under the Bonus Page Updates heading, this tells you all the pages that have had new offers posted on them for the past 7 days.

Continental & United work on reciprocal elite access

Continental and United have announced that they are working together on allowing Elite Frequent Flyers from each airlines FFPs reciprocal access to upgrades and priority boarding. This is an excerpt from the Continental email I received yesterday:

"Continental and United are working toward implementing reciprocal Elite access to upgrades and priority seating on both airlines by mid-year 2010. OnePass Elite members will have access to unlimited domestic upgrades as well as priority seating in United's Economy Plus® cabin on purchased tickets when space is available.

When you're traveling on a United flight, your unlimited domestic upgrade request will be processed along with United's Mileage Plus elite members, depending on your OnePass Elite status. Additionally, OnePass Elite members will have access to United's Economy Plus® seating at time of ticketing, offering more legroom near the front of the economy cabin."

Hopefully this initiative proves popular and successful enough that other Star Alliance airlines look at adding similar reciprocating benefits between them for their Elite members.

JetBlue relaunches TrueBlue - New format and more point earning opportunities

Although much has been known about it for the past couple of months, the new TrueBlue frequent flyer program from JetBlue was officially launched on November 9th. The primary part of any program is the rewards earned for flying and JetBlue has moved to a revenue based model with the TrueBlue relaunch. Now TrueBlue earners will be rewarded on their spending habits moreso then then there flying habits as the more you spend the more you earn. The program will offer 3 TrueBlue points per dollar spent on airfare (excluding fees and taxes) and they will double that if you book online at .

On the redemption side, TrueBlue members can start redeeming for flights at 5,000 points for one-way or 10,000 for round trip. The values then go by up 100 points increments depending on the destination, day of the week, season, and advance booking window. There are no black out dates for JetBlue flights, for code-share flights black out dates may apply.

Along with the new earn and burn format, comes more partners and point earning opportunities with which comes more bonus offers and of course we have these covered on the Frequent Flyer Bonuses JetBlue TrueBlue Bonus Point Opportunities page. These include bonuses that are awarded when you reach certain levels of points in a 12 month period and 10,000 bonus points if you complete 10 one way long haul flights over 2,000 miles in a 12 month period.

The new program has received both accolades and complaints from members as those who did or do not fly with JetBlue much may not have as much as an incentive to fly JetBlue with the new format. However those who are loyal and use JetBlue a lot will be rightfully rewarded.

Chase and British Airways release one of the largest credit card sign up offers ever

It has been less then 24 hours since the link has been live (although there has been some leaked info for a couple of days) and the revamped British Airways Visa Signature Card from Chase is already generating quite a stir. Why? Well simply put, the sign up offer of being able to earn 100,000 bonus BA Miles, the equivalent of two round trip economy class tickets between the U.S. and the UK or parts of Europe. The sign up bonus offers are not the only highlights for this card. Other perks include a complimentary companion ticket for every year you spend at least $30,000 on the card. An earning ratio of 1.25 BA Miles on all purchases and 2.5 BA miles on British Airways purchases. Plus $50 off all BA flights booked by Dec 31, 09 for travel until Dec 31, 10.

The card has a $75 annual fee attached to it and the above bonus offers and features are stated as being limited time only, so if you want to take advantage of this offer do it sooner then later.
